Team Leader Finance in German Manufacturing SMEs (m/f/d)

Our client is a medium-sized group of companies in the metalworking industry with two locations in Germany (a turnover of approximately EUR 40 million). The products produced by our clients in small and medium batch sizes are used in areas where uncompromising quality is required. The company is established with renowned customers and has a secure market position with further growth ambitions.

As part of a planned age succession, we are looking for a team leader Finance (m/w/d) at the next possible time, who takes on the technical responsibility for financial and accounting and leads a team of four employees. The role is aimed at candidate: insiders who come from the controlling or accounting have already booked themselves and now want to take the next step towards leadership.

You work in an operational manner, are a central interface in the company and actively contribute to the development of commercial processes.

Responsibility for financial and accounting including four employees Operational cooperation in accounting (debitors, creditors, accounts) Creation of monthly and annual accounts and consolidation by HGB Cooperation in creating forecasts, evaluations and analyses Further development of controlling structures and reporting Implementation of sales tax declarations Support in liquidity management Close cooperation with management, production and external partners (e.g. tax consulting)Responsibility for financial and accounting including four employees

Successfully completed business studies or commercial training Ideally operating pre-experience in accounting / accounting according to HGB Experience in the financial sector / controlling a producing company or in tax consulting / audit Entrepreneurial thinking, hand-on mentality and joy in process improvements Very good knowledge of German, good knowledge of English
