In the main line of Amprion GmbH we ensure a balanced system balance and a stable frequency in the European network 24/7. Due to the progressive growth of the European energy market and the energy transition, the preview and real-time processes are gaining importance in maintaining system balance and frequency stability. In a concept team of the main control line, expand and improve the existing operational planning and system balance processes. These processes concern previewing the balance of load and market production, monitoring the system balance, the use of control power and coordination between European transmission system operators to maintain frequency stability. They represent Amprion in national and international working groups on the topics mentioned. They train the operational maintenance personnel in case of changes in the process landscape and ensure appropriate process documentation. They continuously track the operating events and analyze special operating events in the context of the operational maintenance processes you supervise. There is the possibility of incorporation in the operative alternating service of the main switching line Brauweiler (optional, time sequence to be agreed). In this case, you would participate (in about 30% of your working time) as a jumper in the operative shift service and use the processes directly.
