Senior Consultant (m/w/d)

The Asklepios Klinik Hamburg Altona is a house of maximum care. In 20 specialist departments, 32,000 patients are hospitalized per year and more than 50,000 patients are hospitalized. The house supplies a regional catchment area from Hamburg, Niedersachsen and Schleswig-Holstein. The operational focuses include a head and neuro center, a gastro center, heart-to-face centre, supra-regional trauma center and a center for men's and women's health.

As part of a regulated succession, we are looking for a chief physician (w/m/d) from January 2026.

Our central emergency reception at the Asklepios Klinik Altona is one of the largest emergency receptions in the Hamburger Großraum and is an entrance to a hospital of the highest utilisation level. We are constantly developing our department and looking for leadership in our team at #teamaltona.

As Chief Medical Officer of the Central Emergency Record, you take over the management of one of the largest emergency shots in the Hamburg metropolitan region as an entrance to a hospital of the highest utilities. You control a dedicated team of doctors: women and nursing staff, develop clinical processes and ensure a structured and quality-proof emergency care. The modern structures with triage zone, numerous treatment rooms, two fully equipped shock rooms with direct access to the CT and an observation unit with emergency critical care unit and certified Chest pain unit are used by you for a structured and high-quality acute care. You work closely, confidentially and interdisciplinaryly with all specialist departments of the clinic, the intensive medical centre, the Stroke Unit and a MVZ General Medicine directly attached to the central emergency.

Technical, economic and organizational management of the department including strategic development and conceptual design of our ZNA Ensuring quality-conscious, medical care of our patients:inside acute diseases and injuries Interdisciplinary cooperation and coordination with the Medical Director, the other chief physician: inside and main departments of our clinic and strengthening the internal reputation of our ZNA Leadership of a Muslim-professional team including guidance and training of assistant physician:inside Cooperation and development of cooperation with established doctors: women, instructors and rescue services

Successfully completed medical training in the field of internal medicine with the addition of ''Clinical acute and emergency medicine'' Found experience in the training of assistant physician:inside Widely disciplined expertise in emergency care and internal and external interdisciplinary cooperation Professional and binding appearance, paired with a motivating leadership style and a team-oriented working Appreciable appearance and sensitivity in dealing with patients: women, relatives and colleagues High loadability and flexibility
