We are looking for an IT Security Engineer (m/w/d) as of 01.01.2027 to strengthen our IT team at the Oranienburg site.

Responsibility for safe operation and continuous development of the entire IT and network infrastructure including cloud services and hybrid environments Conception, implementation and monitoring of cyber security measures based on current standards Implementation of security analyses, vulnerability assessments and incident response in security incidents Administration of server, storage, backup and identity management systems including permission management Ensuring system availability and data backup as well as further development of business continuity and disaster recovery concepts Support, advice and training of users and introduction and support of new hardware and software solutions Ensuring trouble-free operation of production-related IT and OT systems in close cooperation with production, maintenance and process engineering Identification, evaluation and introduction of innovative technologies as well as automation and AI solutions to further develop and secure business and IT processes

Successfully completed training or studies in the field of computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in IT infrastructure, network administration or IT security Funded knowledge in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, networks and cloud technologies as well as their backup Experience in IT security, patch management, backup and business continuity management Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and Linux are beneficial Interest in innovative technologies, in particular in automation and artificial intelligence Structured, independent and solution-oriented mode of operation Excellent service orientation and team skills as well as good German and English skills
