AIT Technician (m/f/d)

Mechanical integration: installation, installation and modification of satellite components, subsystems and mechanisms as well as fine-mechanical machining and adhesive work. Harness integration: integration and check-out of electrical harnesses in satellite assemblies and structures according to predetermined requirements. Tests & verification: implementation of integration, functional and test plans with suitable measuring instruments and support in qualification and acceptance tests. Documentation & Quality: Creation and maintenance of integration and test protocols as well as quality testing. Test Campaigns & Collaboration: Working with Test Campaigns in Germany and abroad as well as working with internal teams and external partners.

Training: completed technical training or Qualification as a technician/specialist, ideally in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace, or with a focus on space electronics. Professional experience: Multiannual experience in harness manufacturing and integration, mechanical integration, precision mechanics, measurement technology or aerospace environment. Technical knowledge: Finded understanding of satellites, mechanisms and system elements as well as experience with measuring devices, manufacturing and integration methods. Special knowledge: knowledge of crimp and soldering processes, adhesive technology and the preparation and execution of mechanical and thermal environmental tests are advantageous. Language & IT skills: Good knowledge of German and English as well as safe handling of MS Office or Google Workspace; Experience in measuring and evaluation is desirable.
