We develop social future! As an operating IT service provider of the Federal Employment Agency (BA), the IT system house at the main location Nuremberg/Fürth and at various locations throughout Germany with over 100 IT applications, 180.000 connected PC workstations and the associated infrastructure runs one of the largest IT landscapes in Germany and continuously develops them. You will be hired as an IT specialist in the IT system house.

A stable IT network is of fundamental importance for the Federal Employment Agency. As a team, we are responsible for ensuring that all users can work and communicate with BA's IT systems in the same quality throughout the country.

Security in the network is also the highest priority for BA as part of a critical infrastructure. Our team offers systems for detecting network states and vulnerabilities, analyzes the network and advises on network anomaly detection.

The tasks of the team on the topic of the network are broad and diverse. We have an open and cooperative atmosphere in which we work closely together. As a specialist system engineer with the focus on networking, for example, you develop concepts in the field of network analysis/monitoring and thus actively contribute to developing network operation and network security with solutions that meet needs.

With terms such as Fabric, Routing, Switching, (global) Loadbalancing, WLAN, APIC, Nexus, DNS, DHCP, IEEE 802.1x, NTP you have experience and you like to further qualify.

Requirements

• Higher education or comparable qualifications (priorities: computer science, business informatics)
• Multiannual relevant professional experience
