For our clients from the food industry we are looking for a “Food Safety and QMS Manager” on the beautiful island of Rügen. In your key position, you are responsible for maintaining the quality management system to meet the company's objectives ISO 9001, ISO 22000, BRC, IFS. It is an unlimited direct service to our client, your new employer. Use us as a springboard in this responsible position.

Keeping up the quality management system to meet the corporate objectives ISO 9001, ISO 22000, BRC, IFS Support QS improvement projects and support compliance with quality guidelines and procedures

Coordinating and developing the Food Safety Management System (HACCP) and QMS certification

Conduct risk assessments of raw materials to determine food safety and the legal risk for purchased material

Ensure audits that audit planning (internal and external) and implementations take place according to plan and without inappropriate delays

Ensure the correct follow-up of the action plans approved after the tests and adequate alerting in the event of deviations

Manage the corresponding KPI data collection reported to the Plant Quality Manager

Coordination of the technical training programme for personnel and development of line managers, maintaining a hygiene, GMP and quality assurance system

Responsible for daily hygiene and GMP in and after the process, including packaging and inspection before shipment

Manage all environmental, health and safety issues in your area of responsibility in accordance with corporate policy

Guide the QS team in the absence of QS managers

An appropriate professional experience in quality management in food production, ideally you should have a degree in food technology or a related field

Expertise in HACCP development and principles and EC requirements

Experience in the fields of sanitary technology and hygiene in a production environment

A problem solver with strong analytical skills

A team player that is able to quickly identify long-term questions, problems and opportunities and communicates with the most important internal contacts

A pronounced cultural awareness and feeling of fineness as well as experience with work in culturally diverse teams

Last but not least: very good German knowledge and very good English knowledge
