In your role as an expert, you conduct mechanical and development-accompanying tests on furniture and furniture components independently, evaluate documents quickly and are responsible for the preparation of test reports in German and English. As a contact person (m/w/d) for the industry, you can easily support mechanical and possibly electrical requirements and form the coordinating interface between customer, sales and internal specialist departments. In close cooperation with the order management, customers and, if necessary, specialist experts for electrical engineering, electronics, EMC and specialist certifications, you will ensure the smooth communication of all test and certification-relevant specifications. Your well-founded knowledge will be introduced to regional and global technical competence centers, support individual offers and thus contribute to the development of additional operational business. You occasionally accompany sales to customer appointments and use your expertise in furniture testing to actively participate in the acquisition and generation of new orders in the field of mechanical and electrified furniture.

Successfully completed studies or training as an engineer/graduate engineer (m/w/d) or (m/w/d) - ideally with a focus on wood technology, mechatronics or a comparable technical field First professional experience of advantage, in particular in testing and certification, the furniture industry or in the field of electrical/mechanical product requirements Funded technical understanding of mechanical and electrified systems and interest in the interface work between sales, specialist departments and customers German language skills (C1) and very good English skills (min. B2) for secure communication in the regional and international environment Travel readiness to a small extent (approximately 10-15 %, e.g. 1 day every two weeks) for accompanying customer appointments and on-site professional exchange as well as a valid class B driving licence
