Number: MER0003JT1 In the RD/KIT (Software & Functional Development) department, we are responsible for the development of air conditioning systems for all Mercedes-Benz Cars series and are leading in the fields of thermal comfort, air quality and efficiency. The strategic change towards electromobility opens up new opportunities and exciting challenges to our area, especially in terms of efficiency and system design. In this dynamic environment, we are looking for employees who appreciate personal development opportunities and varied, demanding tasks. As part of the “Software & Functional Development” team, your main task is to develop, test and ensure model-based software algorithms for upcoming series. This includes the development, testing and evaluation of customer-enabled functions, taking into account global customer requirements as well as the safeguarding within global testing. These challenges include: Developing control algorithms Conducting measurements Development of prototypical software Condition detections with AI Conducting SIL tests

Bachelor's or Master's degree programme focusing on mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace technology, cybernetics, mechatronics or comparable training. Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office Commitment and team skills Analytical thinking and strategic working EU licence class B (car).
