The Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) is one of the largest practice-oriented universities in Bavaria and covers a wide range of subjects with the fields of technology, social and economic sciences, design and languages. Whether funding from the Ministry or money from private or public third-party funds - we have the figures of the THWS firmly in sight. Currently we have the following place to occupy: Higher education Finance 3rd level of qualification - Administration and finance as Teamleiter (m/d) in full time Application code: 31.2.779 The place shall be occupied at the next possible time, the place of service shall be in Schweinfurt. The appointment or takeover into the official relationship of the 3rd level of qualification - the administrative and financial discipline (special focus on non-technical administrative services) takes place in an unlimited period and in full-time (40 hours/week).

Professional leadership and team coordination In this function, you take over the professional leadership of the team of third-party funds, including the principle handling. You process and decide complex requests and requests, in particular in cases where legal or high school requirements do not allow unambiguous clarification. In addition, you control project access, prioritize in-depth projects and ensure a balanced allocation of projects to the team members taking into account the respective utilisation and competencies. Financial management of third-party funding projects You are responsible for the financial processing of third-party funding projects over the entire project course. These include the examination of orders for material, computational and economic accuracy, as well as ensuring compliance with procurement directives, the ordering directive and applicable legal requirements. Consulting, coordination and decision-making To relieve the department management, you take on a central coordination and consulting function. Already in the start-up phase of projects, you agree closely with our Campus Applied Research and accompany project leaders in all issues relating to the financial accounting of third-party projects. In complex or controversial cases, you will make decisions that go beyond the team members' decision-making competence, thus ensuring a legally secure and efficient project execution. Process optimization and strategic development Another focus of your activity is the conceptual development of the Financial Services in the field of third-party funding. You develop and implement a comprehensive process optimization, build a standardized reporting system for external bodies such as ministries, authorities and project promoters as well as for internal addressees and ensure their continuous development. Document and analyze existing processes systematically to identify vulnerabilities and to resolve them sustainably. In addition, you develop a structured planning of payment flows from project gains and set up a plan data acquisition in CEUS.

Successfully completed qualification examination (running-track examination) of the Federal Republic of Germany or one of the Länder of the Federal Republic of Germany for the third level of qualification in the field of administration and finance (Diplomverwaltungswirtin/-wirt (FH) - ideally with the technical focus of non-technical administration service) Knowledge of budgetary, administrative and grant law as well as funding institutions and programmes are desirable ideally relevant professional experience in third-party funding or household, finance and law, preferably at state universities, research institutions or comparable public institutions Knowledge of tax law is advantageous Leadership, organisational skills and team skills very good analytical skills as well as an independent, solution- and service-oriented working method Communication strength as well as excellent knowledge of German and English in word and writing
