Development of intelligent maintenance models, e.g. implementation of machine learning algorithms for the evaluation, fusion and early error forecasting of sensor data from ship systems Integration of AI models into the central digital-ship framework and ensuring seamless connection to the entire system landscape Integration of expert and architectural knowledge (system dependencies, function chains) into knowledge-based AI processes Processing, pre-processing and combining heterogeneous sensor data as well as creating user-oriented dashboards and reports for maintenance teams Structure of research partnerships, support for students and coordination of work packages to create scientific results and to carry out an industrial promotion

Complete university studies in computer science, artificial intelligence, robotics or a related subject, preferably focusing on machine learning / deep learning Comprehensive expertise in system architectures, data fusion and sound knowledge of signal processing as well as excellent knowledge of German and English in word and writing Experience in scientific work on machine learning and enthusiasm for their further development Structured, independent and targeted mode of operation and the ability to visualize complex technical facts clearly High commitment in the V-LAB team, active participation of the interdisciplinary student laboratory
