A central asset liability management function (ALM function) for the DZ BANK and the Group has been re-implemented within the DZ BANK Group Controlling. In this context, the vague position for a senior consultant (m/w/d) is located in the asset liability management sector. Senior Consultant (m/w/d) is responsible for the (further) development of methods and processes in asset liability management as well as in the overall banking control. When creating the monthly ALM reporting, analysis of the control metrics as well as ad-hoc reporting for top management, you take over selected work. In addition, you prepare documents for committees with board participation and answer supervisory requests. In order to optimize the resources at the overall level of the bank as well as at the group level, you can see and control the ALM key variables capital, balance sheet, liquidity, interest income and risk of the bank book (IRRBB / CSRBB). In the course of this, you develop and implement independently ad hoc analyses and tools for automating process steps. Last but not least, you work across areas with interfaces to treasury, risk controlling, bank finance and subsidiaries.

Successfully completed study of mathematics, economics – alternatively a comparable qualification Multiannual professional practice in at least one of the fields of asset liability management, treasury, IRRBB / CSRBB, risk controlling / risk management, or in finance and in the overall banking management, optionally supplemented with experience in the (partial) project management Experience in the overall banking control, including the control views Economics, risk management, capital management, supervisory law, accounting, performance measurement, overall banking planning Deals with stakeholders (Top Management, Treasury, Risk Controlling, Group Companies) A high degree of self-employment and self-motivation, while at the same time strong team skills A clear plus: High technical affinity or Knowledge of data processing and programming (e.g. SQL, VBA, Python, MS Power Platform)
