Consultant (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) Strategy & Policy Energy Studies with energy and market relevance as well as quantitative orientation (e.g. energy management, VWL, economic engineering, engineering – or comparable) enervis is a leading consulting company specialising in European energy industry based in Berlin. We support companies in strategic investment decisions and shape the energy debate. enervis is looking for backup at the next possible time. Quantitative and qualitative analysis of European and national energy markets focusing on the electricity market to assess and forecast market developments and trends. Assessment of the impact of regulatory and market conditions on business models, investments and market players – model-based and analytically based. Monitoring and classification of important energy policy and regulatory issues as well as the preparation of energy policy studies on current energy policy issues. Advice on the design of market design and regulation of energy markets for ministries, authorities, NGOs and market players in Germany and Europe. The development and presentation of the project results at Mandant:inside, in workshops and webinars.

The position is aimed at professionals: women with first relevant experience (e.g. internships) and young professionals. Experience in the energy industry, consulting, research or in the political environment is advantageous. Successfully completed studies in energy, economics, economic engineering, engineering, public policy/policy science or a comparable degree course. Good understanding of energy-economic relationships and market mechanisms (in particular electricity market) as well as sound basic business understanding (e.g. investment and economic accounting). Very good analytical and conceptual skills, as well as the self-understanding, work out results in a targeted manner and communicate them in a customer-friendly manner. Team skills, joy of cooperation and commitment to an open, value-adding communication culture and constructive feedback Very good German knowledge (C1) and good English knowledge (B2) complete your profile.
