Development and validation of circular product design methods (Design for Circularity) Application and development of evaluation approaches for the circulatory capacity of product systems Integration of circular business models in the product development process Integration of data-based approaches (e.g. artificial intelligence, digital product passports, digital twins) into product production Cooperation with partners in the transformation project Circular Saar Participation in publications, conference contributions and profit transfer (e.g. workshops, guides, checklists) Optional teaching and support activities in the courses Sustainable and Circular Engineering and Sustainable and Circular Products

completed academic studies in engineering, sustainability, material sciences or related disciplines. Language skills (according to GER): C2 in German and C1 in English Knowledge of methods and processes of product development and system engineering Competences in circular economy and sustainable production Extensive interest in in interdisciplinary research in the field of technology, sustainability and business Ability to work scientifically and publish in relevant journals
