Purchasing Management / Supplier Management Officer (a*)

The strategic supplier management (e.g. evaluation, development and auditing of suppliers) is designed and developed continuously. The company-wide supplier evaluation and development process is taxed end-to-end - in close coordination with purchasing and specialist areas You define and control measures in supplier risk management – to ensure security of supply and to achieve sustainability goals, taking into account relevant market developments You will professionally and develop the systems and tools used in supplier management (e.g. supplier management systems and risk management tools) You are organising and developing formats for strategic supplier communication (e.g. supplier days). As a central interface between purchasing, specialist areas and suppliers, you control cooperation and promote strategic initiatives in supplier management. Reportings, dashboards and management presentations in supplier management are designed to target groups and develop them further. Interdisciplinary projects (e.g. digitalization, sustainability in the supply chain), you work with and take part in project responsibility.

A completed university degree in a relevant field (e.g. BWL, economic engineering) forms the basis of your profile. Multiannual professional experience in purchasing – ideally in strategic supplier management (incl. Supplier Relationship Management) – you are already bringing along. You have knowledge of purchasing and contract law; Knowledge of public procurement law (e.g. SektVO) is advantageous. With popular tools in purchasing (e.g. SAP-MM and tools in supplier and risk management) you will be sure to change. Ideally, you have experience in developing processes and systems in purchasing or supply chain management. Analytical thinking as well as the ability to derive concrete control pulses from data are your strengths. You work in a structured, self-contained manner, and you drive forward topics with high implementation orientation. Your strong communication capability allows you to convey complex technical content to different stakeholders in a clear and address-oriented manner. Team skills as well as a high customer orientation towards internal demand providers are yours.
