(Senior) Expert Internal Audit (m/f/d)

Planning and implementation of audits: You plan, control and conduct internal audits along our global processes – with a focus on foreign companies, partly also intercontinental – and thus create transparency for sound management decisions. Analysis of processes, controls and risks: You analyze business processes, internal control systems and governance structures, identify vulnerabilities, evaluate risks and derive clear, practical improvement recommendations for the entire Wilo Group. Cooperation with management and departments: You work closely with local and regional management as well as departments, conduct interviews and workshops and ensure that audit results are understood, accepted and constructively implemented – including in the international environment. Reporting and using modern tools: You prepare your results structuredly, create audit reports in German and English, present them address-oriented and use data analysis, SAP/ERP systems, and modern, also AI-based tools to support fact-based decisions. Support for implementation and international presence: You follow the implementation of agreed measures, assist the specialist departments as Sparring partners and also take on international missions to carry out on-site audits and build a resilient network in the global Wilo environment.

Technical basis with a wide view: You have a successfully completed university degree, e.g. in economics, engineering, IT or law, and provide multi-year relevant professional experience in carrying out internal or external audits. An industry experience in the industrial or technology context is advantageous, but no prerequisite. A Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or the willingness to do so is welcome. Audit excellence and methodological competence: You know common testing and audit methods, have ideally gained first experience in dealing with data analyses and understand how to prepare complex facts structured. Experience with SAP or ERP systems are desirable, as are the willingness to use modern, AI-based tools to make processes even more efficient. Communication across borders: You can communicate safely in German and English in word and writing and can convey your audit results to the address – from local contacts to regional management. To make sure that your recommendations arrive worldwide and are effective. Personality with global mindset: You bring a pronounced self-management, an intercultural mindset and joy in working in a global environment. You occur safely, have very good communication and stakeholder management skills and understand how to act confidently and solution-oriented even in challenging situations. Structure, self-responsibility and team spirit: You work independently, reliably and structured, keep an overview even in the case of several parallel tests and are actively involved in the team at the same time.
