The software group at Carl Zeiss MultiSEM is responsible for the development and support of the product software for both multi-beam and single-beam microscopes that are specifically designed for the semiconductor market. Our main task is to ensure a reliable and powerful interaction between the hardware components, the required process sequences and the necessary data management. We also ensure the availability of this data at the customer interfaces. In an interdisciplinary development team of Carl Zeiss MultiSEM GmbH, you will develop software applications for very complex electron beam systems for the production of defect-free photomasks for the chip production of the semiconductor industry (concept, design, implementation, implementation, testing, documentation)

You will design the overall strategic concept for controlling the electron beam column, coordinate the location-crossing and guide a long-term planning

You are central contact for technological topics for internal stakeholders and customers, you prepare project results for them and you are responsible for the communication

in close cooperation with project and product managers, you are responsible for the co-design of the product backlog in relation to software, you manage work packages from and within an agile process You are about control and implementation

Your tasks include the programming of product and application software for electron microscopy and equipment required to manufacture and characterize it, as well as the maintenance of existing software systems

very good university degree in computer science, information technology or a comparable qualification

good knowledge of object-oriented programming in .Net/C#, multi-threading and visual studio/Azure DevOps

ideally good knowledge in one or more of the following topics: WPF and WCF technologies, gRPC, integration of device drivers, communication models/protocols as well as database and client server applications, as well as knowledge and practical experience in project management and coordination

Knowledge in handling process and project tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, TFS) and central version management (e.g. SVN, GIT) and agile software development
