System Engineer (m/w/d) Mine Countermeasures Sonar Hydroacoustics

As a system engineer (m/w/d) for seamine defense sonars, you are responsible for their system maintenance and sonar data processing in the context of seamine defense. You define the functional and non-functional requirements for the products you care for in consultation with the product manager. In the project context, you control the adaptations of the product design taking into account the needs of the project and product. They take into account the function chains and strategies of seamine hunting in your design decisions. They design new methods for sonar data processing or automatic evaluation of sonar data and lead their development. Your expertise shapes the further development of sonar products.

They have a degree or a comparable professional qualification with a technical background in engineering, mathematics or computer science. You have knowledge of hydroacoustics. Knowledge in the field of Sonar data processing is helpful. You have experience in request analysis and system modeling. Embossed system-oriented thinking, organizational ability, self-employment and self-initiative are your strengths. They have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
