Consultant Category Management Foodservice (m/f/d)

Further development of the food service seasons and concepts through market, competition and trend analysis as well as identification of potentials, opportunities for innovation and relevant categories. Creating sound analyses, KPI reporting and performance evaluations for deriving data-based action recommendations for product and assortment strategies of different channels. Processing and presentation of category management information for customers, including economic evaluations, potential analyses and participation in workshops, product group meetings and voting rounds. Control and coordination of assortment revisions as well as ensuring efficient administrative and process daily business in category management. Active cooperation in projects and external presence in the market, such as through visits to suppliers and producers, participation in trade fairs and domestic trade fairs and systematic documentation of relevant market trends.

Funded technical basis: studies of BWL, in trade or comparable training, complemented by first experience in Category Management, Purchasing, Sales or Food Service, as well as a good understanding of assortment logics, economy and product reviews. Strong analytical and methodological competence: Very safe handling of KPIs, reports and data analyses; Experience with market, competitive and trend analyses and the ability to derive clear and feasible recommendations for action. Embossed project and process strength: Structured working in projects – ideally with cross-functional teams – as well as reliable management of administrative and operational tasks and the ability to manage several topics in parallel. High communication and interface competence: safe, sales-oriented appearance, service-oriented communication with internal and external partners, strong customer proximity as well as sovereign and team-oriented handling of different stakeholders. Personal motivation and industry reference: Great interest in food service, products and trends, readiness to store checks, trade fairs and house fairs as well as a proactive, solution-oriented hands-on mentality and high self-motivation.
