As an apprentice, you can install complex systems and supply-technical piping systems as well as containers and apparatus for the production of foodstuffs or the process and chemical industry. You maintain plants, rebuild them if necessary or participate in development and construction work. Course contents:

Reading, drawing and creating technical documents and isometry Isometric sketches of pipe lines and moulded pieces Manufacture of templates Mathematical calculations and symbols Cutting and forming semi-finished products Basic training E-, G- and WIG welding Hard soldering and soft soldering of steel and copper Set up and check components Additional training contents: (not included in the IHK framework curriculum) Optional all additional modules according to Industry Standard 4.0 Screwdriver DIN1591-4 Forklift driver license Welder training for DVS welding e.g.

Crafty skill: You should have fun screwing and mounting and can safely handle tools. Technical understanding: Understanding complex systems is essential. Spatial imagination: Important to read construction plans and “prepare” installations in the head. Care & reliability: faults not only on pipelines can be dangerous, therefore exact work is mandatory. Fun on the thing
