No 033-26 Payment € 14,54 gross per hour Employment limited until 31.12.2027 Weekly hours 14 h Place of work Bonn Application deadline 26.04.2026 The BBSR at the Federal Office for Building and Spatial Planning (BBR) is the Federal Institute's departmental research institute in the business area of the Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building (BMWSB) for the areas of urban development, spatial planning, housing and construction. In addition, the BBSR implements a variety of support and investment programs in the field of climate protection and urban development. The RS 2 unit operates scientific policy advice with regard to social developments and their impact on urban and urban areas. The study focuses on the analysis of urban development processes and innovative model projects in the context of experimental housing and urban planning (ExWoSt). The technical support of the National Urban Development Policy (NSP) with its pilot projects, events, competitions, network and communication formats is also comprehensive. Support in the revision of texts and material for the website of the Department of Urban Development (GSB) scientific research on current and upcoming topics of the unit, in particular on current issues of urban planning and development (e.g. implementation of the building turbo) Support for project management in the area of the National Urban Development Policy and various research clusters of the Urban Development Unit Support in the organisation of digital and analog events

Expected: registered student / registered student of the field of urban development, urban planning, urban planning, geography or a comparable study direction What we need: Interest in current topics and areas of action of integrated urban development and urban planning Basic knowledge of scientific work and ability to work independently after appropriate incorporation Joy in team collaboration and an open-minded and helpful way of working good written and oral expressiveness in the German language language skills of the language level (C1 according to the common European reference framework – applicants whose first language is not the German language, we ask for proof) and good English language skills

The working time is regularly 14 hours / week. The fee is €14.54 gross per hour. The employment relationship is limited until 31.12.2027.
