Be part of our common success story as Software Developer (m/w/d) in full time (40h/week) As an embedded software developer, you are significantly involved in creating our embedded systems. You develop hardware-related software, firmware and device drivers, design powerful software architectures and work closely with hardware development to implement innovative ideas into reliable products. You accompany our solutions from conception, implementation and validation to continuous development and support our customers in demanding technical issues. With your know-how in C/C++, embedded operating systems and microcontroller technologies as well as your structured, solution-oriented way of working, you are crucial to the success of our products.

Development of software for equipment and implementation of innovative ideas and functions in close cooperation with hardware development Creation and development of software architectures for embedded systems and platforms Development and maintenance of operating system images (e.g. Windows, Linux and comparable systems) for embedded devices Implementation of device drivers for different operating systems and hardware platforms Design and programming of firmware for microcontrollers Development of tools for validation, internal testing and support for customer applications Creation of sample applications and code examples to support customer integration and commissioning Development-side product care and continuous optimization of existing software solutions Software-based customer support for complex implementation issues as well as the analysis and elimination of challenging fault images

completed university studies (Master or Dipl.-Ing. (FH) in electrical engineering, technical computer science, software engineering or a comparable discipline; as an alternative to technical training with relevant professional experience Experience in hardware-related software development and implementation of development projects using modern project management methods Practice in software development with assembler and C/C++ Knowledge in the fields of microprocessors (e.g. ARM architectures) and programmable logic Know-how in tool development with Python, Bash or comparable script languages Experience in the installation and configuration of embedded operating systems (Linux, Windows, QNX) Analytical, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation as well as high quality awareness and hand-on mentality Team skills as well as excellent knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
