Product Manager (m/w/d) Plastics and Adhesives

Product management for CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants and Elastomers) with the focus on adhesive and/or plastic raw materials and their application as well as adjacent product areas Support of suppliers and identification of new product groups to expand the portfolio New Business Development in these segments on customers and suppliers Planning, implementation and control of paragraphs of the product groups responsible Link between international raw material producers and our customers in cooperation with sales managers Market monitoring, development and implementation of market strategies Support and advice of our European sales team through application-technical customer advice and regular product training National and international travel activities, e.g. for trade fairs, conferences, supplier and customer visits

Completed scientific studies (e.g. Master of Science in Chemistry, Economic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering) or alternatively completed technical training Multiannual professional experience in purchasing/product management and/or in the development of products in CASE Product knowledge and experience in the field of CASE, in particular, plastics and adhesives, and their use and processing, are desirable Routined use of MS Office as well as knowledge in SAP of advantage Very good knowledge of German and English Strongness of negotiation and decision-making High communication, coordination and team skills
