The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees.

The SOS Children's Village Vorpommern offers differentiated work and housing opportunities for people with mental impairment as part of the integration aid. In the context of child and youth aid, we operate an integration skindering daycare facility with an external forest children group. Furthermore, our family center offers various low-swelling offers for special target groups in the district. The help for education supplements our offers at the Grimmen and Barth sites.

For our SOS Children's Village Vorpommern we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, part-time (max. 30 hours/day)

The workshop for disabled people (WfbM) of the SOS Children's Village Vorpommern currently offers around 160 people with mental disabilities an individual and meaningful employment in eight different areas of work. Our carpentry currently employs approx. 12 people with disabilities who are accompanied and guided by two professionals. High-quality products made of wood are produced here – with a lot of passion, patience and a special look for detail. Instructions & support: They accompany, promote and support people with disabilities in their daily work in the carpentry – individual, need-oriented and with much empathy Planning & organisation: You plan and organize workflows, materials and necessary tools – and adapt them flexibly to the skills and developments of employees With production design: They are actively involved in the production of products – whether in cutting, grinding, assembly or quality control Economic work: They take co-responsibility for the careful use of the funds available and contribute to the economic development of the area. Product development & marketing: They bring ideas for new products, shape our assortment and help prepare and execute markets or sales activities. Help planning & educational work: They support the implementation of individual assistance plans and support participants in the field of vocational training on their personal development path Industrial safety & quality assurance: They pay attention to compliance with safety requirements, create a safe workplace and implement measures to protect carers

technical qualification: completed training as a carpenterin with additional pedagogical qualification (e.g. gFAB) or comparable completion or: completion as an ergotherapeutin with sound knowledge in wood processing social competence & heart blood: joy in work with people with disabilities, ideally with corresponding experience in the social education or rehabilitation area Organizational institution: They have a good sense of structures, can efficiently plan workflows and keep an overview even in challenging situations Teamability & Own Responsibility: They like to work in the team, but are also able to act independently and responsibly Reflectivity & further development: You like to deal with your work, regularly reflect your role and enjoy personal and professional development Flexibility & commitment: They are prepared to work on occasional weekends (e.g. market stands, events) with professional approach to proximity and distance – you understand building sustainable relationships without losing the professional role Class B driving licence: condition for journeys with service vehicles
