Executive IT Enterprise Architect (m/w/d)

As a strategic partner of the Bundeswehr, Customer Architecture & Portfolio Advisory (CAPA) assumes responsibility for the transparent and effective planning of the required IT services. We ensure a seamless connection of Bundeswehr and BWI planning and create the foundations for the performance adjustments of BWI to changing customer requirements (business IT alignment). We also support the Bundeswehr in the targeted further development of its IT systems.

We are looking for several experienced Executive IT Enterprise Architects (m/w/d) to design and further develop our company architecture. You advise the Bundeswehr on various and interesting IT architectural issues and have the opportunity to help shape the future of the German security situation.

Responsibility for the design and further development of the Bundeswehr company architecture: You analyze and develop the company architecture with your expertise, thus ensuring a sustainable company development. In doing so, you continuously derive further development potentials for Bw's corporate architecture and associated tool landscape and lead them to the necessary management decision as needed.

Responsibility for the creation and further development of reference and project architectures: The initiation, creation and optimization of reference and project architectures in cooperation with the IT and digitization projects of the Bundeswehr is also one of your tasks. You have the opportunity to help shape the IT landscape of tomorrow.

Responsibility for creating target images: You create target images and portfolio measures in the area of responsibility, and You are significantly involved in the future orientation of the Bundeswehr.

Optimization of principles and specifications: Set clear standards by creating and optimizing principles and requirements for the corporate and reference architectures of the Bundeswehr.

Requirements collection and management: You collect, manage and evaluate requirements and requirements of the Bundeswehr for the joint definition of necessary and innovative measures.

Target group-oriented presentation of complex facts: The creation and further development of professional contributions to the corporate architecture of the Bundeswehr is also part of your mission with us. A target group-oriented creation of complex facts and relationships up to top management level is necessary.

Interdisciplinary and cross-thematic cooperation: You work with us interdisciplinary and cross-thematic teams and take over the leadership of professional teams in the context of IT and digitalization projects, which are of the highest relevance for the Bundeswehr.

Complete IT-related study of computer science, business informatics or comparable MINT courses.

Mind. 6-year relevant professional experience after studying with tasks as IT Enterprise or Solution Architect or IT Service Portfolio Manager or IT Service Manager mandatory

Very good knowledge of IT construction planning and creation of target images

Very good knowledge of architectural management tools (e.g. ARIS, SPARX EA) and architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF or NAF) as well as metamodels (e.g. ADMBw, UAF DMM)

Experience in request collection and request management

Experiences in the customer environment of the Bundeswehr or authorities are desirable

Experience in communication and cooperation with medium and top management

Strategic thinking, communication strength, persuasiveness, team capacity, sense of responsibility, ability to easily represent complex facts

German Treatable, English good in word and writing
