With more than 14 000 employees, the International Federation (IB) is one of the major service providers in youth, social and educational work in Germany. His guiding principle is 'reinforce human being'. In the outpatient consultation with bedding we offer support for 84 full-year men in all areas of life. Our residents are a very heterogeneous group with different backgrounds, needs and goals. It is located in the main building in the Allach district and in residential communities in surrounding districts. Our multi-professional team of social pedagogues, psychologists, labour leaders and support workers supports the residents in developing a new perspective on living, finding a suitable connection room, ensuring their financial basis of living, addressing health problems and asserting their legal claims. In addition, residents are encouraged to take over their own responsibility and to support the integration into society and participation in social life.

The IB- Wohnungslosenhilfe Bayern has been working with around 180 employees for more than 30 years in Munich and Wasserburg am Inn. The company comprises five areas: the “long-term and transitional aids” at the Allach and Wasserburg am Inn locations and in the Munich city area: “Consulting, Employment and Housing” with the measures Ambulante Beratung mit Bettplatz, the employment project TBSS and a social representative housing estate; ‘representation in accommodation establishments’ with the residential project Dantestraße; “Ambulant aids” with the measures Clearinghaus, seeking social work, supported housing, short-term assistance housing and the Flexi-Heim Pfeuferstraße.

As a practical partner of the Catholic Foundation University of Munich, we offer you the opportunity to gain your practical experience in our facilities as part of your dual study at the Benediktbeuern site. You will learn the theoretical foundations of social work at KSH Benedikbeuern on 3 days a week and apply them directly to us on 2 days per week.
