Technology Transfer Manager in Biotechnology (m/f/d)
Do you want to play a key role in the transfer of innovative biotechnological processes from development to successful production? In this cross-functional position, you actively shape technology transfer projects and work closely with interdisciplinary teams across the company. We are c-LEcta, a Kerry Group company and leading developer and manufacturer of biotechnological products for regulated markets such as the food and pharmaceutical industry. With state-of-the-art technologies, we develop tailored enzymes and microbial production strains that enable efficient and economical industrial manufacturing processes. At our site at the Alte Messe in Leipzig we currently employ over 130 employees. In our production area, biotechnological products are first produced in an internal pilot and production plant and then produced on an industrial scale either internally or with external partners. Newly developed processes are tested in the pilot plant and first productions are carried out under quality-controlled conditions according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and industry-specific requirements. After successful piloting, the process know-how is transferred to further Kerry sites or external production partners. You play a central, cross-functional role in the management and implementation of technology transfer projects. Academic degree: Complete study in the field of bioprocess engineering, biotechnology, food technology or a comparable scientific qualification or relevant professional experience Professional experience: Experience with production processes in regulated industries (e.g. food, feed or GMP environment) Experience in research & development or in the production of biotechnological products, ideally of enzymes Working method: Embossed project management expertise with responsibility for dates and budgets Pragmatic, solution-oriented working and team player mentality Languages: Very good, reliable knowledge of German and English in word and writing
