Every year, about 135,000 people can be treated in a stationary manner. With currently around 7,000 employees, the Klinikverbund is the largest provider of health services in the South German area. Codierfachkraft (w|m|d) for 38.5 hours/week full-time, part-time employment is possible. The place must be occupied without notice. Location: Munich Klinik Thalkirchner Straße The Medical Controlling team consists of 9 coding specialists and one line medical controlling. Every month, team meetings with all codier experts and the management take place. Medical control

Encoding & Examination: Encoding and verification of main and secondary diagnostics and procedures in accordance with the German Codes (except medically coded services). DRG grouping: implementation of the case grouping including Plausibility check of the DRG association. Case studies: processing of casedialogs with health insurance funds as well as MD/SMD/Private-KK checks; timely provision of documents. Monitoring & documentation: Coordination and monitoring of tests incl. Presentation of the accounting documents and documentation of the results in the KIS. Communication & Quality Assurance: feedback of the test results to documenting areas, monitoring of complaints and participation in the optimization of coding and documentation quality. Process management: independent, case-accompanying coding using digital patient files – from recording to dismissal.

Completed training as a nurse (w/m/d), med.-techn. Assistant (MTA), medical specialist (MFA) or comparable training in the medical field with completed further training for coding specialists or as medical documentation assistant (MDA) At least two years of professional experience in encoding, ideally focusing on intensive care (operative, conservative, neurological), surgery and conservative areas as well as MD management Very good knowledge of medical terminology and classification systems ICD and OPS – and their use in stationary accounting Safe handling of hospital information systems (e.g. SAP, i.s.h.med), encoding browsers and common office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to interpret the DRG casebooks using the definition manuals and knowledge of the communication standards according to §301-DTA
