As a transmission system operator, we secure the power supply for around eleven million people in Baden-Württemberg. We create the infrastructure for the energy transition by maintaining, optimizing and expanding the high-voltage network according to needs. With our network, we not only make the country an innovative power turntable in the heart of Europe, but also make the energy system of the future significant. The Network Access & Network Customers department supports all directly connected customers of TransnetBW and with great commitment accompanies the connection of new battery stores, wind and solar parks as well as hydrogen-capable gas power plants. In addition, we are responsible for the contractual and net economic support of network construction measures and analyse all the basic issues of network connection, network access and network usage. These tasks, whose successful management is a decisive component for the success of the energy transition, are steadily increasing in scope and complexity with the progressive transformation of the energy system. You evaluate complex energy-economic issues such as the further development of network charges, the allocation of network connection capacities or the implementation of a building cost grant. You calculate physical paths and evaluate network charges for uniquely used resources. You are familiar with the current legal situation (EEG, EnWG, StromNEV) and trends in the energy sector. You continuously expand your network expertise in a constantly changing regulatory environment and deal with key issues related to network connections, network access and network charging. You represent the interests of TransnetBW to external partners – for example in cooperation with other network operators or in the context of association work (BDEW, etc.).

You have completed a university degree, have several years of professional experience in the energy industry and ideally have a PhD with an energy-saving approach. You like to work in new, complex topics and are characterized by pronounced analytical problem-solving competencies. You have fun in teamwork and want to take responsibility for your own topics and projects. You are happy to be part of an interdisciplinary team, are keen to master new challenges and with your communicative way you can easily moderate between different stakeholders. You have excellent knowledge of German.
