IT Specialist Network Control Systems (m/f/d)

A task that challenges. You are responsible for the operation and availability of the network control and process control systems of our control units. You are a technical contact person in case of disturbances and support their analysis and sustainable improvement in cooperation with the participating bodies. You process technical questions and system adjustments during ongoing operation and ensure safe and stable system operation. You plan, coordinate and accompany changes and releases of the network control and process control systems across all phases. You actively participate in the further development of the system landscape and introduce requirements from network operation into technically sustainable solutions. You work closely with the system management, IT, departments and external service providers and manufacturers and support projects to secure the future of the control centers-IT. You are sensitive to IT security and ISMS processes in the environment of KRITIS.

A background that convinces. You have a completed training or study with a focus on computer science, IT or a comparable IT-related area. Knowledge of electrical or energy technology is helpful, but subordinate. You bring experience in the operation and care of complex IT or OT systems, ideally in the context of network control, SCADA or process control systems. You have a good understanding of Linux/Unix-based system environments, their operation and basic system and process relationships. You have experience in scripting (e.g. Shell, Bash, simple Python scripts) to support operations, perform analyses or automate recurring tasks. You work structured, reliable and responsibly and address technical questions in a solution-oriented manner. You like to work across teams and interfaces and communicate clearly and objectively with system management, IT departments and external partners. Since this activity is provided in a safety-sensitive area, we need your consent before permanent employment to carry out a review under the Security Audit Act (vpS according to SÜG in conjunction with SÜFV).
