In this position, as part of our international purchasing organization, you assume the holistic responsibility for a material group in the purchase of raw materials. Ensuring the quality and availability of the raw materials required Function as escalation level for supply or quality problems Requirements definition and specification clarification with specialist areas Concentration of demand across different global locations Identification and exhaustion of cost optimization potentials Identification and qualification of alternatives in cooperation with the development Global price and conditions negotiations Development and implementation of product group and supplier strategies Active management of the material and supplier portfolio Research and evaluation of potential suppliers Responsibility for group-specific key figures and targets

Studies with technical and/or commercial background or corresponding vocational training and multiannual professional experience in strategic purchasing Experience in purchasing chemical raw materials, ideally lacquer raw materials Secure handling of SAP R/3 and common MS Office applications Very good English skills in word and writing Implemented personality with negotiation skills and outcome orientation Proactive method Joy in dealing with suppliers and fun at work in a motivated cross-disciplinary, international team
