Data Platform Enginner (m/f/d)

Come to the team in Dresden. -As an experienced software engineer, you design the most modern IT platforms for maritime applications and thus shape the digital future of an entire industry. You plan, implement and operate virtualization and container solutions – ensuring that development and test environments are stable, performant and reliable at all times. -You develop and evaluierst DevOps strategies and processes to make our development landscape continually smarter, faster and more efficient. -You work closely with our development teams and anchor DevOps practices along the entire software life cycle. -You develop and optimierst CI/CD pipelines that automate our builds and deployments and lift them to the next level. -You'll start reusable templates, components and modules designed for best practice applications and deliver real added value to our engineering team.

• You have a degree in computer science, information technology or a comparable degree. -You have several years of experience in platform or DevOps engineering and are sure to move in modern infrastructure worlds. -You master the construction of CI/CD pipelines – ideally with tools like GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins – and you know exactly how to build efficient, stable automation processes. -You are convinced with extensive experience in virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, XCP-ng, VirtualBox or Hyper-V and are also versed in handling container technologies such as Docker, Podman and Kubernetes. -You appreciate teamwork and good communication, but at the same time, your independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working makes strong impulses in the team. -You're enjoying constantly developing yourself, trying new technologies and constantly expanding your knowledge and skills.
