The focus of the Department of General, Visceral and Minimally invasive surgery is oncological and gastroenterological surgery of colon, rectum and stomach, minimally invasive surgery, and the entire spectrum of cooproscology. Only operations on the pancreas and esophagus resections are excluded. A further focus is the minimally invasive hernia surgery in groin and scar hearts and diaphragm hearts as well as the entire general surgical spectrum. For acute postoperative care and treatment of critically ill patients there is an interdisciplinary intensive care unit under the direction of the Department of Anesthesiology. Your duties: Higher Medical Responsibility for the entire field of General and Visceral Surgery As an integrative personality, you promote interdisciplinary cooperation with the other specialist departments Co-responsibility in the further training of assistant physicians Development of projects in General and Visceral Surgery Participation in the obercive background graduate service Depending on the suitability and interest, there is the possibility to focus on hernia surgery, proctology or colonial surgery. We offer you a structured and individually adapted development with the clear aim of the qualification as a senior physician. You are an experienced specialist (m/w/d) for general and visual surgery and have sufficient surgical experience in the area of minimally invasive surgery. The specialist in proctology is desirable, but no condition. You want to expand your surgical expertise especially in complex MIC surgery. You are human and professionally sovereign and have a high social competence.
