(Senior) QA Engineer (m/w/d)

As a QA Engineer, you are responsible for the entire test process from planning to execution as part of agile, cross-functional development teams. You develop and optimise test strategies, test plans and test concepts in close cooperation with stakeholders and ensure that the processes run smoothly. You coordinate and prioritize test activities, monitor and report the progress of the test. You develop test methods and processes and set standards. You identify risks and actively improve (development) processes and methods beyond testing. You test software modules on your own according to functional and non-functional quality features and you actively contribute to all test activities (system, integration, regression test, ...). You perform test automation scripts and evaluate the results. You support the further development of test automation. You evaluate the release candidate and coordinate the release execution. You are part of a motivated QA team and actively promote the cooperation of our open corporate culture.

You have several years of experience in agile software testing and test management and are ISTQB “Certified Tester Foundation Level” certified. You have experience with agile development methods such as Scrum or Kanban as well as with suitable test management tools (X-Ray, Zephir, ...). You have basic understanding of programming languages and ideally have experience in implementing automated tests. You have a completed study or comparable training, ideally in the STEM area. Flowing German and English skills complete your profile. Nice-to-have: You master at least one common programming language (e.g. Java, Python, Javascript) and can safely handle Git. You have experience with test automation frameworks (ideally robot framework) and/or load and performance testing (K6, Jmeter, etc.). You have an ISTQB certification on Advanced Level and/or other certifications in the field of software testing and test management.
