In the Clinic for Congenital Heart Failure and Child Cardiology, we provide patients from newborn to adulthood and offer the entire range of modern cardiac medicine from conservative therapies to highly complex procedures. At the children's intensive care station C.118, you will be responsible for newborns and infants with complex heart defects before and after operations and interventional procedures. At the same time, you benefit from an interdisciplinary environment with diverse insights into adjacent areas of expertise.

This is what awaits you:

• Holistic care and monitoring of children and young people with congenital heart defects taking into account individual needs and current standards of care science

• Professional care before and after surgical interventions and cardiac catheter investigations, including monitoring and early detection of complications

• Sensitive accompaniment and competent advice of relatives in often stressful and sensitive situations

• Close interdisciplinary cooperation with the medical service and all professional groups involved in optimal patient care

• Active participation in the development and security of nursing processes, standards and quality

Take this with you:

• A completed training as a health and child caregiver / health and child caregiver / GKKP or health and nursing / health and nursing / GKP or Nurse / Nurse / Nurse, Nurse / Nurse

• Professional experience in paediatric care is desirable, but no requirement

• Impressive interest in paediatric cardiology as well as motivation for continuous professional development

• High social competence, especially empathy, sense of responsibility and strong team skills

• A structured, reliable way of working and enjoying interdisciplinary cooperation
