DevOps Engineer – Build, Release & Development Platform (m/f/d)

Our software products are used in safety and quality-critical environments. In this role, you strengthen our platform for build, test, release and deployment and make development and delivery processes more robust, automated and more understandable. Developing development platform: You design and automate our platform for build, test, CI/CD, artifact management, release and deployment with focus on stability, traceability and wartability. Improving release capability: Make sure that software versions can be made more reliable, efficient and more comprehensible – even with growing product and project complexity. Technically anchor quality assurance: You integrier automated testing in development and release processes and thus strengthen the basis for reliable software quality. Support R&D-related development services: You manage and develop internal services such as GitLab, YouTrack, CI/CD-Runner, build infrastructure and associated integrations in close coordination with IT. Increase developer productivity: You provide tools, standards and automation and support the targeted use of modern assistance tools, including AI-based development tools. Make interfaces active: You work closely with software development, architecture, product ownership and IT to ensure that platform solutions are introduced in practice

You have practical experience in devOps, platform, build or release engineering and have already built, automated or significantly improved development, build, test or release processes. You understand modern software development and can arrange technical dependencies between development, testing, build, quality assurance and delivery. You are safe in handling Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines and automated quality checks; Experience with GitLab CI or comparable systems is particularly relevant. You bring well-founded experience with build and automation tools, ideally with CMake, scripting and build automation. You know the practice of reproducible builds, versioned artifacts, packaging, release documentation and comprehensible delivery processes. You work structured, quality-conscious and responsible. Topics such as integrity, traceability, secure development processes and DevSecOps are part of professional software development. You can communicate clearly, work at interfaces and communicate cleanly between developer needs, platform responsibility and IT operation. You have secure English; German knowledge is advantageous.
