Number: MER0003TRW The 'CAD & Mechanical Engineering' team develops new constructive methods that can quickly react to styling changes in early development phases. In today's vehicle development process, the vehicle concept designed by the design is tested for technical feasibility by the responsible departments. In the early development phase, CAD models of the car side doors are used to secure the door concept. In the context of the working student activity, CAD models are to be maintained and further developed together with the team of window lifters, door rotation, entry flange for the digital securing of the car side doors. This activity is carried out partly on site or in mobile work. These challenges include: Installation in CAD system Siemens NX

Processing into existing CAD models of backup concepts

Participation in the requirement analysis to the respective CAD model in cooperation with the departments

Working with the design and implementation of suitable solutions in the Siemens NX CAD system

Improving user-friendliness (User Experience) of CAD models The activity can begin from November 2025.

Course in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable degree course Technical drawing or basic knowledge in CAD
