Engineering Service and Commissioning (m/f/d)

We are a spin-off from RWTH Aachen University, which makes recyclable plastic packaging possible for various applications using special coating technology. We are currently building a company that will significantly drive the circular economy for plastics in Germany and the world. We are looking for an engineer service and commissioning (m/w/d), which strengthens our team and ensures the smooth use of our machines with our international customers.

Your tasks

You carry out the software-side commissioning of our plants and their decreases with international customers and accompany the production processes to stable series operation

You are responsible for the care and maintenance of the equipment at our customers worldwide You keep the systems up to date with software updates and system adjustments You support customers in technical troubles via remote support and on-site You analyze errors in the Beckhoff/TwinCAT-based PLC and HMI systems, and you can quickly and sustainably correct them. You actively participate in the optimization of installed systems You train and serve customers for safe operation of our systems You are in close contact with the Research & Development department and introduce your findings from the field into the further development of our technology

You have at least three years of professional experience in commissioning or in the technical service for industrial plants, ideally in the field of special machine construction

You have completed vocational training or completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology, industrial technology or a related area You bring profound experience in the programming of SPS and HMI in the software TwinCAT of the manufacturer Beckhoff Automation with You work structured, independent and solution-oriented You are drawing yourself through an analytical approach in the Cause Analysis of Errors and Problems You are motivated to offer our customers the best possible service You stand safe and professional in international customer contact You are a travel enthusiast and are keen to support customer projects on regular, multi-week service trips to the USA and within Europe You have good knowledge of German and English
