Professur (w/d/m) Design Leadership

Design changes companies, brands and society. This requires personalities that can shape and lead creativity. For our internationally oriented master’s degree program “Creative Direction” we are looking for an outstanding personality from the Art Direction area in companies and agencies that has comprehensive practical experience and design competence, as well as a reflected understanding of contemporary design and leadership processes. The aim is to increase personal efficiency for talented students from all areas of design. The professorship (W2) will be filled in full-time (100 %) from the summer semester 2027.

Representation of Design Leadership in Teaching and Research Development/implementation of courses in the areas of Creative Direction, strategic design and leadership of creative processes Care and mentoring of students in project work and completion work Promotion of interdisciplinary cooperation within the faculty, as well as with external partners from the creative industry Design of innovative spaces and possibilities and the interconnection of diverse design disciplines Active participation and further development of the course at international level You teach didactically at a high level and accompany project work

Graduate or Master degree in Design Multiannual relevant professional experience as Art Director, Creative Director or in senior position in agencies, media or companies Detectable successes in the development and implementation of creative projects Embossed future orientation, conceptual and strategic skills and the ability to transfer them to students Communication strength and interest in current developments in design, media and society as well as their communication Educational suitability and ideally teaching experience in higher education In an international environment you can teach in German and English
