The campus model lets you experience the group close to you! In joint trainings and seminars, which mainly take place in Sindelfingen, you will come together with students from all works. During your practice assignments in the second and third years of study, you will start in your Rastatt masterpiece. Mechatronic engineers work at the interface of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation technology and computer science. You can spend the theoretical phases at the Baden-Württemberg Dual University in Stuttgart. Mathematics-nature sciences and electrotechnical foundations, mechanical engineering, computer science, mechatronic systems are examples of well-founded expertise that are imparted to you in theory. The field of electromobility and vehicle system technology combines the content of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, information technology and business management and thus creates a solid basis for complex, cross-disciplinary relationships. These foundations are supplemented by specific content such as energy storage, security in high-voltage systems, electromobility technology and systems as well as lightweight construction. In the practical phases, you collect experiences, for example, in production planning, in an attempt, in development or in the search for technological solutions for the usability for fuel cells and hybrid drives.
