The ''Advanced Systems Engineering'' department deals with the central question of how complex technical systems can be developed data-driven, continuous and efficient over their entire life cycle. For this, we combine systems engineering, model-based systems engineering and modern technologies such as artificial intelligence to form a holistic approach for the engineering of the future. The focus is on the integration of methods, processes and IT systems to create consistent and scalable engineering ecosystems. In our group »Technology and Innovation Management«, together with industrial partners, we shape the product and innovation management of the future. We help companies systematically understand markets, technologies, customer needs and competitive developments and derive sustainable product, service solutions from them. For this purpose, we combine strategic product planning, innovation management, data and AI-based decision-making processes and new approaches to collaboration with start-ups and technology partners, for example in the context of the Venture Clienting Initiative STRATOSFARE.

In exciting research and industrial projects, you work in the product and innovation management and take responsibility for work packages and projects in a perspective. Together with industrial partners and start-ups, you work with venture clienting questions as part of the company ''Stratosfare''. You identify, evaluate and plan data and AI-based use cases in product management and innovation management. In addition, you analyze markets, technologies, trends, competitors and customer needs and guide strategic areas of action for industrial companies. You design, moderate and document workshops, interviews and working formats with customers, project partners and contractors. You will participate in acquisition activities, offerings, impulse contracts and training and drive the further development of our product and innovation management with your colleagues.
