As a mechatronic / IT system administrator (m/w/d) you support modern research in one of the leading international robotics research groups and ensure smooth IT operation: You set up, manage and maintain the computer and network infrastructure (Windows & Linux). You develop or integrate software solutions for the automation of simple administrative processes. You support the commissioning and maintenance of robots (hardware and software). You support research projects in robot simulation and machine learning. You support specification and purchase of hardware and software.

You don't have to be an expert in all these areas. Above all, we are important for good technical foundations, interest in new technologies and the willingness to work on new topics independently. The place is therefore also suitable for professional beginners with appropriate practical experience. Complete training in the field of mechatronics, computer science, technical informatics, automation technology, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification Good Linux skills and pleasure in analyzing and solving technical problems independently First practical experience with IT systems, networks or servers.
