The newly established unit is responsible for the central planning and further development of the BKA's technology landscape and creates pioneering, architecture-driven solutions for development and operational products. Become part of an innovative team and design the targeted technology construction of the BKA towards Multi-Cloud, AI and Data Analytics. With your creativity, your experience and technical skills, you contribute to the harmonisation and synergetic use of central IT services and future technologies, thereby setting standards for the police's security-oriented IT architecture. At the same time, you have the chance to participate in the design and realization of solutions at the interface to the KI innovation field. Do the right thing, too, and do it now!

Technical standardization: You are responsible for planning, designing and developing framework specifications and IT architectures. Solution Architectures: You plan, develop and provide architecture-driven solutions for selected police or cross-thematic areas. Architecture-as-a-Service: You develop and test pioneering architectures based on PoCs and MVPs, which form introductory architectural solutions. Technical domain responsibility: You will develop selected technology areas – focusing on (multi-)cloud, security architectures, AI and big data analysis as well as mobile IT architectures. Technology Scouting: You identify and evaluate innovations, technologies and products (e.g. in the context of AI, ML, cloud platforms, etc.).

completed university studies (Diplom [FH] or Bachelor) from the STEM area with IT share or comparable skills and experience, but at least a completed vocational training with IT equipment, and in addition a minimum of three years of professional experience in a corresponding profession or comparable skills and experience, but at least a completed vocational training or a completed university degree (Diplom [FH] or Bachelor) and a minimum of six years of professional experience in a corresponding profession with IT orientation On top You have proven practical experience in software development (e.g. Python, Java, Javascript, C++) You have knowledge of the platform strategy with Kubernetes (Deployment, Multi Cluster) as well as DevOps methods using Github, Gitlab, etc. You could gain first project experiences in the application and/or realization of AI solutions either by using AI in SW development or the introduction of generic AI models as well as corresponding orchestration and deployment frameworks

You have a sense of your customer's needs and find pragmatic solutions that are multiplicable at night or in the police network. You take responsibility and ensure that your tasks are implemented in a timely manner. You use the tools of project and process management as well as methodological and personal experiences from digital transformation projects. Good cooperation and team-oriented action are of course for you. You have a very good oral and written expression, have good cognitive and organizational skills, are resilient and independent and flexible in the task.
