Messe Karlsruhe is one of the established trade fair and congress locations in Germany and is a leading organiser in one of the strongest economic regions in Europe. In addition to a variety of own events, we are also known for the professional implementation of national and international guest fairs and guest congresses.

In order to actively support the field of event technology at the Messe site, we are looking for a fixed period of 24 months as a parent office at the next possible time Technical/Project Manager - Meister Veranstaltungstechnik, Experienced Specialist Event Technology (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) o. ä. in the area of Events, Messe & Kongress in full time limited to 24 months

In coordination with the event management fair, you will ensure the technical design and safe implementation of events with the aim of increasing the success of the event.

Creation of activities planning, budgeting, controlling and control of technical structures including Budget responsibility Design of forums and special exhibitions including technical planning, conceptual design, ordering of the necessary structures, on-site processing and settlement in coordination with the project management Customize CAD plans according to events Implementation and monitoring of operational event processing (incl. opening and dismantling) Guide of the Hall Masters and Event Technicians Monitoring and control of event reports as a basis for accounting Compliance with all safety regulations and implementation of the safety concept Takeover of the function of the CvD according to the safety concept Approval of hall plans and regulatory approval Acceptance of fairs/events, hall and stage buildings Grant of stand permits Disposition, assignment, on-site control, settlement of the following areas: Event technology Fire protection/brand wax, sanity service, guarding/security Techn. Connections/structures, structures, suspensions, floor coverings, cleaning, furnishing, disposal (own requirements, forums, special exhibitions)

Completion to the Master of Event Technology, Fachkraft Veranstaltungstechnik (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) or a comparable technical training including commercial foundations Multiannual, relevant professional experience Very good technical and craft basic understanding Good computer skills, good AutoCAD knowledge Good knowledge of English independent, customer- and service-oriented operation high social competence and a safe, friendly appearance high readiness and willingness to adapt the working hours to the requirements of the respective event
