In close cooperation with the Executive Board, Group companies and departments, we are constantly developing our data governance standards, processes and tools as a data governance function (2nd Line of Defense). We advise on the implementation of our requirements, monitor their implementation and report to the top management. Thus, we ensure a continuous improvement of the quality of data as a basis for effective control processes. In the Competence Field “Monitoring the Implementation of the Management Board Requirements to Data Governance / Data Quality Management” of the DG function, introduce your ideas, shape processes and become part of our team! As a speaker (m/w/d) in the above-mentioned field of competence, you contribute to effective and regulatoryly consistent data governance in the DZ BANK Group / DZ BANK AG. Always design and optimize processes for the continuous monitoring of the implementation of data governance/data quality management orders. The results of your DG monitoring activities are regularly reported to senior management and board bodies. As part of the DG monitoring, you will be able to provide technical support to our specialist disciplines such as accounting, supervisory law, transaction banking or risk controlling, and will assist you with questions regarding the implementation of the data governance structures. In addition, you are the competent contact person for data governance-related enquiries from our top management, specialist departments or examiners. The introduction of your identified development potential into the continuous improvement of our data governance standards and the associated processes completes your task area.

Successful study of economics, business management, business informatics or comparable Multiannual professional practice in a similar function in the banking environment, an audit firm, advice, revision or in a 2nd-line function Experience in the design, implementation or practical implementation of requirements from BCBS 239, ECB Guide RDARR or comparable requirements for data management in banks First experience from one of the specialist disciplines to be supervised Practical experience with common data governance methods and data management tools of advantage Trusted with supervisory and/or internal audits with BCBS-239 reference Very good German in word and writing
