Teamleiter (m/w/d)

As a team leader, you take the disciplinary leadership of an 8-member team that plans and implements the electrical network infrastructure of our wind, solar and BESS projects. In this role, you are responsible for network connections, substations and cable systems from the early concept phase to commissioning. With an annual budget of €10-20 million and a pipeline of 2-3 major projects (approximately 50 MW each) per year, you actively shape how ENGIE develops and scales its network connection processes. You report directly to the Head of Construction & Engineering, thereby obtaining high visibility in our stable growing company.

These are your tasks:

Discipline leadership and further development of our team for network connections and substations Controlling the planning and implementation of network connections and transformers for our wind, PV and BESS projects (voltage levels 20-110 kV) with compliance with budget, time and quality requirements Responsibility for budget and resource planning and preparation of investment decisions Control of tenders and contract negotiations for construction and engineering services in close cooperation with purchasing Central interface to distribution network and transmission system operators, including stakeholder management and participation in relevant specialist associations/ bodies Control of external engineering offices and suppliers in planning and construction of the network connection infrastructure Developing standards, processes and reporting structures for project planning and implementation Ensuring technical quality at our construction sites

Complete study of electrical engineering/energy technology or comparable qualification (e.g. technician, master) with relevant professional experience Multiannual professional experience in the planning, control or implementation of network connection or energy infrastructure projects (e.g. a network operator, EPC, plant builder, engineering service provider or Renewable Energy developer), experience in the field of wind, PV and BESS Professional and disciplinary leadership experience of teams and projects Good knowledge in the handling of network operators and the relevant technical and regulatory frameworks, knowledge in network calculation, primary or secondary technology are a plus An existing network of suppliers and service providers in the area of transformers/network connection as well as experience as responsible electrical power (VEFK) is desirable, with a takeover of this role being possible with us, but not an attitude criterion. German (C1) and good English (B2) Driving licence class B and Germany-wide readiness (approximately 30 %)
