Tasks

• They are responsible for the further development and compliance of the consolidation system (currently SAP BCS) and the related processes to ensure IFRS compliance and financial reporting reliability.
• This includes defining requirements, implementing system changes and technical consolidation of historical financial data and corporate planning.
• They are responsible for the continuous development and optimization of consolidation and reporting processes (including monthly and quarterly accounts) and implement process changes due to legal requirements or internal improvements.
• They ensure internal control over the entire consolidation process to ensure compliance and reliability of financial reporting.
• They build a powerful consolidation team and take over its technical leadership and further development.

Profile

• They bring a completed degree in accounting, finance or a related area, ideally with advanced degree such as an MBA or Master in Accounting as well as a professional certification as an auditor (CPA) (m/w/d) or equivalent qualification (e.g. ACCA).
• They have many years of experience in consolidation with overall responsibility for the production of consolidated financial statements, preferably for a globally operating company in a listed environment.
• You have profound professional experience in accounting and controlling as well as project management, ideally in the field of IFRS implementations or post-Merger integration.
• They have strong leadership and intercultural sensitivity in handling global, cross-functional teams.
• English language skills in word and writing as well as German knowledge complete your profile.
