Head of Maintenance Control

Own-sponsored technical, disciplinary and organizational management as well as strategic further development of the field of maintenance control with up to 11 employees in the safety-critical environment of the gleisbautechnische Infrastruktur taking into account BOStrab requirements, operational constraints and economic objectives: Leadership and further development of the field as well as management of human and organizational resources Responsibility for the preparation, planning and control of all maintenance measures beyond the corrective maintenance in close coordination with the specialist areas (construction, electrical systems, power supply) Organisation of the use of construction project managers and construction supervisors for repair measures Controlling the technical preparation of building materials procurement including creation of performance directories Responsibility for defining track extension limits for maintenance and construction projects Coordination and ensuring the performance of welding, grinding and milling Participation in the establishment and management of the economic and investment plan including budgetary responsibility Compilation of maintenance work including assessment of expenses (financial and material) Participation in tendering and awarding processes for planning and construction services and in follow-up management Close coordination with internal and external project participants (including specialist areas, authorities, contractors) Creation of performance directories and tender documents

Complete study in the field of civil engineering or a relevant field Overarching project manager functions in the construction sector Long-standing experience in the maintenance of infrastructure facilities according to DIN 31051, ideally in the field of rail infrastructure Knowledge of engineering infrastructure and its construction, function and maintenance procedures Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulations and regulations (including BOStrab, HOAI, VOB, VDV fonts, DIN/EN standards) Experience in the management of maintenance measures, procurement processes and awards Embossed strategic thinking and structured and analytical work Leadership and communication skills, enforcement and negotiation skills Secure handling of MS Office, SAP and relevant IT systems Very good knowledge of German in word and writing Suitability for safety-relevant activities (e.g. safety oversight) and health suitability according to VDV 714 driving licence class B
