As an IT business analyst, you are the central link between disciplines, IT and implementation - and make sure that ideas create clear, feasible requirements. You work at the interface of business, processes, data and technology. In doing so, you bring structure into complex requirements and make visible what is needed so that digital solutions work professionally and are technically viable. A special focus is on the public sector - for example, with federal authorities or the Federal Employment Agency. At the same time, you also work in the private sector and gain insights into different organizational, process and technology worlds.

You make requirements understandable, priorityable and implementable. You translate technical requirements into structured specifications, user stories, use cases and clear decision bases. You make sure that specialist pages, IT and implementation teams share the same target and do not fail projects in terms of uncertainties, assumptions or communication gaps. This is not about pure documentation, but about effect: requirements that are understood, backlogs that are controllable, and digital solutions that work professionally and technically.

What should you bring? You can quickly capture complex requirements and bring them into a clear, resilient structure. You think professionally and technically at the same time and realize early where risks, uncertainties or conflicts of target arise. You can communicate safely with departments, IT teams, product owners and project management. You can accurately formulate requirements, make priorities understandable and develop a common picture from many perspectives. Your claim: create clarity - so that ideas become effective digital solutions.

Your profile Multiannual experience as a business analyst, requirements engineer or in a comparable role Experience in IT, digitalization or transformation projects Funded knowledge in at least one of the following areas:Requirement Management / Requirements Engineering Process analysis / process modelling Agile Implementation / Backlog and Stakeholder Management

Experience with modeling approaches such as BPMN, UML or comparable methods Confidence with tools like Jira, Confluence or comparable solutions Ideally experience in public sector or complex business environments Very good knowledge of German; English knowledge is advantageous

Your tasks

Recording, analysis and prioritization of technical and technical requirements Creation of User Stories, Epics, Use Cases and Specifications Modelling and optimization of business processes, e.g. with BPMN or UML Analysis of systems, interfaces, data flows and dependencies Control and maintenance of backlogs and support of agile implementation teams Presentation of workshops and coordination between stakeholders

You play a role with high content responsibility: close to the disciplines, close to IT and close to implementation. You work in digitization and transformation projects where requirements are not only collected, but understood, structured and effectively translated into solutions. You can expect projects in the public sector and in the private sector, direct cooperation with architects, architects and project management as well as development perspectives towards architecture, product ownership or consulting.
