Supporting the strategist in the negotiation process with the suppliers Responsible for the creation and maintenance of supply contracts and catalogues in several systems Responsible for the processing of order requirements of direct and indirect materials and services (raw materials, packaging, technical goods, technical services and general services and energy), the pursuit and elimination of possible errors in the automated production of orders and the systematic processing of orders in an international environment with regions of overlapping activities and intercultural challenges Responsible for the continuous tracking and verification of orders and order confirmations, including the solution of problems (e.g. adjustments, reminders to suppliers), first contact person for the business units/GFs in other countries for delivery adjustments/problems and for suppliers. Intensive external communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders in Italian and/or English Coordination of predefined complaint types and introduction of supplier returns master data management and collection of supplier master data changes as well as new suppliers by recording the contact data and all the information required for the production of the supplier master data Provision of (self-service) procurement support for BU/GF users in Italy and ensuring awareness of internal stakeholders and compliance with the LXS purchasing policy in the respective departments Processing of problems/adjustments of all kinds of troubleshooting and clarification of problems before and after delivery with suppliers, requesters and other relevant stakeholders as first-level support Conduct negotiations with suppliers in order to achieve advantageous conditions for Lanxess within the framework of the prescribed negotiating mandate

Successfully completed training on/to the industrial businesswoman/man (w/m/d), comparable qualification in the commercial sector or Bachelor degree flowing Italian, German and English knowledge required in word and writing, further languages desired (e.g. French) Experience with material management and catalog/category management Experience in SAP Module MM (S4 Hana) and ARIBA Buying desirable High commitment and responsibility, as well as high service Intercultural competence and readiness to travel Very good analytical methods and process understanding Embossed team and communication skills High loadability and ability to maintain a clear head even under time pressure and in challenging situations Ability to set priorities in a dynamic environment and act efficiently
